Flicker Alley is proud to announce a new bonus feature to our upcoming Blu-ray/DVD Combo Edition of Woman on the Run:

Woman on the Run Locations Then and Now.”

CitySleuth of ReelSF.com leads a virtual tour around San Francisco, hunting down the many locations used during the production of Woman on the Run.

For the past 15 years I have pursued a passion for movie location hunting in San Francisco,” says CitySleuth. “Not just any moviesthey have to be classic movies.  In other words older movies, often film noir in genre, so that I can compare this extraordinary city as it was a half century ago and more with how it looks today.”

CitySleuth emphasizes his dedication to location sleuthing. “I’m driven to ferret out every last one of each movie’s locations, real and virtual, even window views used in studio interior scenes.  If the original site is not there today I look for historical photos for verification.”

CitySleuth says his work will reveal the locations for Woman on the Run for perhaps the first time. Except for the opening and closing scenes, which were filmed in Los Angeles and Santa Monica respectively, the entirety of the film shot on locations in San Francisco.

Woman on the Run will be released on May 10, 2016. Be sure to pre-order your copy today and save 25% off MSRP while the sale lasts!
